“'Work It Out' is a celebration of feeling good and taking charge of your health. We're also thrilled to support The Gathering for Justice and their mission to empower young people through their amazing programs. I chose to release my single during National Foster Care Awareness Month because it’s important to use my platform to shine a light on the system that raised me. We don’t talk enough about kids like me who come through those foster care situations." - 201Jah

“As many people know, The Gathering for Justice was founded by the late, great artist Harry Belafonte, who always appreciated the value and beauty at the intersection of arts and activism. It’s a real honor for us to have 201Jah choose The Gathering as a beneficiary of this wonderful song, which carries such a positive message for our young people. Many of the youth in our programs are from foster care backgrounds and "Work It Out" is sure to inspire them–and indeed all of us—to get moving and make positive changes in your life.” - Carmen Perez-Jordan, President/CEO, The Gathering for Justice
