January's #RevolutionaryReelz free public screening featured the documentary "Rikers", followed by a panel discussion with members of the cast, including JustLeadership USA's Glenn Martin, Kathy Morse and Justice League's own Mysonne The General.  We were excited to partner with the RFK Human Rights Young Leaders on this presentation.

Justice League hosted our 3rd installment of #RevolutionaryReelz on November 18th, Ava Duvernay's "13TH".  In light of recent events, there could not be a more meaningful and important film for our community.

October's film was A Walk To Freedom, followed by a Talk Back Session with the co-Founder of Justice League and Executive Director of the Gathering for Justice, Carmen Perez; and Women's Rights Activist and Criminal Justice Reform Advocate, Donna Hylton.

September’s  #RevolutionaryReelz documentary was Sing Your Song about the legendary Harry Belafonte, the founder of The Gathering for Justice.  The film follows Mr. B's extraordinary career as the world's most popular entertainer to his Civil Rights crusade that spanned 5 decades and continues today.  The screening was followed by a talkback conversation moderated by Citizen Action NY's (and Justice League member) Darius Gordon with the film's director Susanne Rostock.
